Molly’s approach to her craft is defined by a "relationship-first" philosophy. She prioritized building authentic rapport and ensuring informed consent long before picking up her camera. She moves seamlessly between diverse environments, whether she is in a community kitchen, a corporate boardroom, or a rural farm. This versatility has yielded tangible results: Molly’s storytelling earned Duluth Center for Women and Children recognition from United Way as an exemplary program and directly led to expanded sponsorships and client growth for the Nourish program.

Now more than ever, social impact needs to find ways of making our often invisible work visible. Molly’s work is compelling on its own. Getting to understand how she approaches storytelling, especially the ethical considerations behind it, brought a deeper level of clarity and intention to the practice. I cannot recommend Molly enough! Her amazing ability to capture the authentic essence of a space and group of people is such a talent. She has the ability to inject empathy, joy, and a sense of humanity into her work, all while remembering and bringing visibility to the systemic reasons that people face such barriers to food access in the first place. I cannot count the number of times I have watched videos that Molly has created and felt a deep sense of connection to my community and the hope in a better tomorrow for people that these programs touch.
